Access to ScienceDirect improves in UK (July 2007)
ScienceDirect now supports the UK Access Management Federation through Shibboleth technology, which allows end users to access multiple information resources with one set of credentials and on a single sign-on basis. Elsevier's ability to support the Federation at such an early stage is due to three years of investment in Shibboleth as well as close collaboration with the international library community.
